Cocoon Fires Aeris – Ceiling-mounted bioethanol fireplace
The Cocoon Aeris is not just a fireplace – it is a statement piece. Designed by the renowned Federico Otero, this ceiling-suspended bioethanol fireplace combines timeless elegance with modern, functional design. Its oval shape and matte black finish create a striking visual presence, making it a centerpiece in any contemporary interior.
With no need for electricity or a chimney, the Cocoon Aeris is easy to install and ideal for environmentally conscious homes. Its minimalist look and adjustable telescopic pole make it both stylish and practical for living rooms, dining areas, or open-plan spaces.
Burner and heat output
The fireplace features Cocoon Fires’ own 1.5-liter burner with manual control and adjustable flame. It provides up to 5 hours of burn time per refill and a maximum heat output of 3 kW, suitable for rooms of at least 45 m³. Average fuel consumption is approximately 0.3 liters of bioethanol per hour.

The fireplace weighs 24 kg and measures Ø60 x H182.5 cm. It can be mounted on most ceilings, as long as they can support a minimum of 19 kg. Additional brackets for angled ceilings and multiple mounting points are available for purchase, allowing the unit to be relocated between rooms or homes with ease.
The Cocoon Aeris is also available in a polished stainless steel version.
Note: Mounting screws are not included.
